Infrastructure seeks Freedom

For ages, IT infrastructure was perceived to be a burden.Datacenters were expensive to build and even more difficult to manage. But then start-ups started using cloud to compete with the incumbents. For the first time, the view on IT infrastructure changed – what was perceived to be a burden began to be viewed as a new accelerator; not just by techies, but by business people as well.

However, cloud adoption came with challenges pertaining to regulations, security, etc. Many of those challenges have lately been overcome, and today, cloud is the preferred infrastructure for most new applications such as analytics, chatbots, AI, RPA, etc. With cloud as the new mantra,BFSI technocrats are now tasked with transforming their infrastructure DNA from slow, complex and costly to simple, scalable and agile.

The building blocks too are changing. Monolithic servers, networks and storage are giving way to hyperconverged elements, which, like Lego blocks, empower infra architects with freedom and creativity to participate positively in the digital journey

Banking Frontiers aims to promote this transformation through raising thoughtful question and active sharing of expertise and experience among the technocrats. We are pleased to invite you among CTOs, IT Infrastructure Heads and Datacenter Heads to participate in this brainstorming exercise to generate fresh ideas that can free your
infrastructure from artificial constraints.
