For the first time, the view on IT infrastructure changed – what was perceived to be a burden began to be viewed as a new accelerator; not just by techies, but by business people as well.
However, cloud adoption came with challenges pertaining to regulations, security, etc. Many of those challenges have lately been overcome, and today, cloud is the preferred infrastructure for most new applications such as analytics,chatbots, AI, RPA, etc. With cloud as the new mantra,BFSI technocrats are now tasked with transforming their infrastructure DNA from slow, complex and costly to simple,scalable and agile.
